Overview

Your own private mini-lodge for 12 people and 2 dogs, Claymore Cottage provides all the greatest hits of a Branson getaway, plus some unexpected extras.

Start the day with a coffee on one of two covered decks and take in lovely sunrise views of Table Rock Lake and the neighborhood. 

Then go for a cooling mid-day dip in the private heated container pool on the lower deck—complete with a glass front for Mermaid photoshoots. 

Even better? Because it’s heated, you can use it year-round. This feature is unique to Branson Family Retreats—you’ll find it only here and at our neighboring Claymore Cottage.

Your group will love having 5 deluxe bedroom suites to choose from, all with king-size beds, luxurious sheets, and their own attached baths. The thoughtfully curated decor throughout Claymore Cottage brings a touch of Scottish history to the Ozarks.

The accessible main level (including an accessible bedroom + bathroom), combined with a ramp for easy Cottage access, means everyone in your family can join the fun.

If you’re visiting outside of summer—a great choice; the off-season is lovely!—pile onto the caramel leather sofas around the stone gas fireplace in the Great Room and share stories over cocktails or hot cocoa.

Send your kids (or husbands) to the family room for a game of pool or a movie and tell the stories you skip when they’re around.  

At dinner time, the kitchen is a dream to cook in. It’s well-equipped with appliances both large and small, and a roomy center island allows for easy prep work.

The Branson Experience~

Silver Dollar City: A top theme park in the country with incredible live shows, roller coasters, and food. You may even want to get a season pass so you don’t miss all of their themed festivals throughout the year.

Live Shows: Branson is the Live Music Show Capital of the World! Choose comedy, musicals, concerts, dinners, cruises, magicians, and more. There are well over a hundred different shows to choose from and more theatre seats than Broadway in New York.

White Water: A top 10 water park in the United States, White Water has 13 acres of speed slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, and more, right off the Branson Strip. Fun for all ages in the family!

Boating: State Park Marina and Long Creek Marina are our favorite marinas in the area.  And depending on which house you are at, you may be just around the corner. Rent a pontoon or speed boat and pull a tube behind you or get some wave runners for some high-speed action.

Branson Landing: Shop your favorite stores, dine at great restaurants, grab an ice cream or coffee, ride the trolley, go bowling at Andy B’s or see the spectacular light, fire, and music fountain show. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon or evening, on the banks of Lake Taneycomo.

Hiking Trails: Branson has miles upon miles of hiking trails and beautiful scenery.
